November 27, 2018 Release Notes

New Features:
  • Mobile-friendly & modern Community and Company Websites - We've introduced advanced, mobile-friendly website layouts.  Features include:
    • Fully responsive layouts, which means your residents can view the website on any device.
    • Residents can view community documents, financial balance and transaction history, forms, events, marketplace items, community information, and pay dues online in one central place.
    • Restrict content on your website to either community occupants, board members, or make some of your pages public.

  • Community Directory
    • The Community Directory feature has been requested frequently by our clients and we're happy to announce its inclusion in this release.  The new feature is aimed at helping residents to connect with one another better and have greater control over what information they share with the community.  The community directory is a listing of residents who have opted-in to share their contact information in the resident portal.  Residents can choose to list their contact name and address, email address, phone number, or SMS text number.  

Enhancements:
  • Communications
    • When a resident receives an automated phone call, they now have the option to opt-in to receive text messages.  The resident portal will reflect the change so that the resident will start to receive those text messages.  
       
  • Pilera Training Site
    • In the past few months, our customer success team has created several tutorial videos to help you excel at using Pilera for your communities.  To locate these videos, simply navigate to the Resources tab, click on Pilera Resources, and then click on the link "Pilera Tutorial Videos".
